Dialect
a form of language spoken by people in a particular region or group
Dialogue
Conversation between two or more characters
dissonance
a harsh and disagreeable combination, especially of sounds
Enjambment
the continuation of a sentence without a pause beyond the end of a line, couplet, or stanza.
hyperbole
extreme exaggeration for effect and not meant to be taken literally
irony
A contrast between expectation and reality
dramatic irony
when a reader is aware of something that a character isn't
