What is WHMIS?
An information system designed to help know more about safety and health hazards of materials that they use in the workplace
What is on a WHMIS label?
-name of chemical-hazard symbols-risks-first aid instructions-supplier's name and address
hazard and example of compressed gas
hazard: containers explode with hazardous gasex: fire extinguisher

-report to teacher-clean up immidiately
what to do when using electrical equipment?
-use dry hands-pull plug to unplug, not cord-check wires for frayed spots
precautions to take when cutting things:
-cut away from self-hold sharp end down when walking
